Colour Me // Fushia

Bourjois rouge edition velvet pink pong
So last week the wonderful and innovative make up artist Pat McGrath posted on her instagram with her inspiration for the second in her collection of limited edition pigments (you'd be forgiven for not realising she released her 1st Gold pigment, it sold out that quickly) this second colour was fuchsia and was inspired by the incomprehensibly incredible David Bowie. Clearly Dave knew fuchsia was the hottest, sassiest and most exotic of pinks, easily trouncing your roses and your salmons.

Dave!

The whole set of ''Phantom 002'' pigments were released last month but as you might have guessed (since it was a limited edition of 1200)  it sold out pretty speedily, I'm gutted as it was an amazing collection of bold, gorgeous  colours  but it was so beautiful i don't know if I could have actually used it and £150+ is pretty pricey for something I'd be too scared to use.

So although I won't be smearing my eyes in amazing fuchsia pigment like amazing Dave I've found a little fuchsia fix in the Bourjois Rouge Edition Pink Pong lipstick, this is without a doubt my favourite make up product that I used in 2015, it's so bright and poppy but also comfy and leaves a lovely, even tint once you've worn it for a while so it's a great lazy/busy lady lipstick (also seems like a good dupe for Nars Schiap and half the price, wahey!) .  I'm going to do a proper post on why I love these and my 3 favourite colours in the range.
